The Temporary Removal of GUNVOLT RECORDS: Cychronicle from the North American Switch eShop

Inti Creates made an official announcement regarding the temporary removal of their musical rhythm game GUNVOLT RECORDS: Cychronicle from the North American Switch eShop. The removal was attributed to a change in ratings, prompting the studio to take action to address the issue and have the game reinstated as soon as possible.

This is not the first time Inti Creates has had to deal with a situation like this. Previously, the studio had to remove another title, Grim Guardians: Demon Purge, from the eShop due to a trademark complaint on its title. Following this incident, the game was rebranded as “Gal Guardians: Demon Purge.” While this previous case was more serious, the current rating change issue with Gunvolt Records is still an inconvenience for fans in North America.

As of now, Gunvolt Records: Cychronicle remains unavailable on the North American eShop, while it is still accessible on the European counterpart. The game was released on February 15th, giving it a short time in the spotlight before being pulled from the store. Fans who were eager to experience the new rhythmic direction of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series through this game are left disappointed by its sudden unavailability.

The game features songstresses Lumen, Lola, and Luxia from the Azure Striker Gunvolt series, performing 15 different songs in a rhythm music format. Players are tasked with following the notes to the beat and aiming for high scores in this immersive rhythm game. The dual analog controls are designed to sync with the characters’ movements, creating a fully engaging experience for players.

The temporary removal of GUNVOLT RECORDS: Cychronicle from the North American Switch eShop due to a change in ratings has left fans frustrated and eager for its return. Inti Creates is working to resolve the issue and restore the game to the eShop as soon as possible. Despite this setback, the unique blend of music and gameplay offered by Gunvolt Records continues to intrigue players, and the anticipation for its return remains high among fans of the Azure Striker Gunvolt series.
